Deer Hunting
The vast area surrounding Wild Fox Resort offers many prime habitats for White Tail Deer. Each year some trophy bucks are taken in the area. With the surrounding conservation lands you can search out your own plot of land to wait for that trophy buck, or we can arrange for a guided hunt if that is your preference. Below you can check the 2007 hunting seasons.
Waterfowl Hunting
The many Lakes and waterways in the area offer many species of waterfowl, including, Canadian geese, and Black, Wood, Mallard Ducks, Teal, and other puddle ducks along with many species of diving ducks. The area sees very little hunting pressure, and is a great place for training a new puppy. Below is your host and his proud 10 month old Chocolate Lab showing off her first Canadian Goose just after the retrieve.
